What’s the difference between Will Call and Print at Home?
When ordering your tickets online or over the phone you can request to pick your tickets up at the club (will call) or have them send you an email with tickets that you can download and print at home. To pick up your will-call tickets, bring your State-Issued, Photo I.D. to the Door the night of the show to collect your tickets. If you order Print-at-home tickets, you can download and print your tickets from the Etix confirmation sent to your email. Print at Home Tickets can also be scanned straight from your Smart Phone.
• Avoid waiting in a long line by selecting print-at-home.
• ALL tickets are scanned at the door and a photocopied ticket will not gain you admittance to the venue unless it can be scanned. Buyer Beware! Each barcode will only scan once – once it’s been scanned by our door guys, it won’t work again, so be careful!
Someone else is buying me tickets on-line, how can I pick them up at Will-Call?
If the purchaser knows the name of the person who will be picking the ticket up at Will Call they need to use that persons name when buying the ticket online or over the phone.
* Please call 865-544-4300 to change Will Call names. Do NOT call the venue office!
I’m worried the show will sell out; can you reserve me a ticket now and I’ll pay for it later?
Our ticketing system is set-up to allow advance purchase of tickets up to 3 hours before door time. You may purchase tickets online or by phone. We are unable to “hold” tickets unless you purchase them first and leave them at will-call.
I’m supposed to be on the guest list…
If you are supposed to be on a guest list, be sure you know the name of the person who has put you on the list. It is also a good idea to confirm with that person that you are on the list 24 hours before the show. Valid ID is always required at The Valarium, and it is essential when you are picking up tickets at Will-Call or from the Guest list. We are not responsible for mistakes made by band members, radio stations, or other promotional groups, although we will follow up on guest list questions to the best of our ability.
The show is Sold Out; will you be releasing any tickets?
No, if a show is sold out there will be no tickets available at the door the night of the show. We advise you check StubHub, Craigslist or Facebook…
What’s your refund policy?
We can’t refund tickets unless a show is cancelled. You are welcome to re-sell your tickets – you can post on our Facebook page, Craigs List, Stub Hub, or sell it to another guest in front of the club.
All tickets sold on the TICKETBISCUIT platform adhere to a “NO REFUNDS, NO EXCHANGES” policy. If a show is cancelled tickets purchased via credit card will automatically be refunded back to the card used to purchase the tickets. For refunds on cash purchases, please email contact@thevalarium.com to confirm your address and a check will be mailed to that address.
What’s your capacity?
Total capacity is 1572 inside The Valarium, the Balcony, two Smoking Patios, and The Cider House.
Do you provide seating?
Most shows are standing room only; however, typically, we have high top tables & stools around the perimeter of the room available first come / first served. For many shows, we have a VIP seating area located upstairs overlooking the dance floor and stage where you can reserve a seat. If VIP is available there will be a VIP ticket available where the General Admission ticket is listed on our ticket page.
Can I go in and out?
Re-entry is allowed for patrons 21 and older. All of the same rules apply for readmission as for admission, so be prepared to show your ID or have your bag checked. If you plan to leave and return, make sure your stamp is clear or your wristband is intact and have your ticket stub. We will not admit people with torn wristbands or illegible stamps. There is NO re-entry for All Age Shows!
What kind of I.D. do I need to drink at The Valarium?
We accept any Valid, State-Issued, Photo I.D. including Driver’s License, Passport or Military I.D. If your I.D. is out of date, if there is no picture, if it’s not your picture and if any part of the I.D. has been tampered with then it is NOT a valid I.D.
Why do I need I.D.? I’m not going to drink.
Most shows at Valarium and CiderHouse are 18+, so you must provide a Valid, State-Issued, Photo I.D. to show 18+. For All Age shows 16+ can enter with a Valid, State-Issued, Photo I.D. anyone that does not have an I.D. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
I’m not 18; can I attend a show with a parent?
Age restrictions are set by Management Companies, Artists or the Promoters and are set due to content of show, times of shows (TN State Curfew), ABC Laws, Insurance Restrictions, etc. Due to these restrictions when a show is set to 18+ we cannot allow any exceptions for anyone under 18 to attend the show, even if attending with a parent or guardian. For all age shows 16+ can be unaccompanied with a VALID State Issued I.D. (18 & under with no I.D. has to be accompanied by an adult)
When will the show start & end?
Door times are listed at on the calendar page of the website. Door time is when the box office opens on site and we begin entry into the building for a show. The opener normally begins one hour after door time, followed by the additional support acts ending with the headliner. The end of a set is at the discretion of the performing act, although we contract them for a minimum set length – anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the act.
This is a question we usually cannot answer.

Will you call me a taxi?
Absolutely! Ask anyone in a staff shirt, and we will make it our first priority. I am in a wheelchair or have special needs? Can you accommodate?
We always do everything we can to make sure that every guest we have is comfortable. Our building is ADA compliant. Please contact Randee Maxwell (randee@thevalarium.com) if you need assistance for a show.
What is your photo policy?
Our policy is that you are allowed to bring in cameras. However, that may differ from the bands policy and the bands policy wins. Almost every band is ok with small digital cameras or point and shoots. Almost no band is ok with professional grade photographers without prior approval. The door guys can let you know whether you can bring in cameras for that particular show.
Can I look inside?
Please make an appointment with Randee Maxwell (randee@thevalarium.com) during regular office hours (12pm – 6:00pm Monday – Thursday). We are happy to show the occasional visitor around the club but we cannot accommodate on show days.
