Street Team FAQs

 

Here are a few things we expect:

  • Select a few key-locations easy for you to get to on a consistent basis (ie. Pellissippi, Campus, West Knoxville etc.) and frequent those locations by putting up fliers and handbills if available.
  • Take pictures of some of the fliers put up, far enough back so we can see it wasn’t taken on your bathroom door.
  • Come by the venue on Thursdays to pick up material for the weekend!
  • Tell your friends about upcoming shows and spread the word.
  • Invite some people to events & post an occasional link on any/all social networking sites: Facebook, Mypace, Twitter, blogs, etc.
  • Show initiative with the ability to follow instructions.

Here are some rules we need you to abide by:

  • No fliering over other fliers unless that flier is expired!
  • No taking down fliers of other venues unless expired!
  • No passing out handbills in other venues!
  • No Duct tape inside store or business windows! They do not appreciate it!
  • No throwing away fliers you can’t get around to passing out! We will take them back and pass them on to someone else! We will not be upset if you can’t get around to it one week. However, if we find out you throw them away, we will have to dismiss you.

You set your own schedule for this. All we ask of you is get the material out the week you pick it up, show closest in receiving priority!

Upon next pick up, you will show us some of the pics of your work on your phone and that’s it! We do random spot checks weekly to make sure the material goes up.
